Created as a meditation on emotional restraint, Blurred Horizons captures the suspended moment between overwhelm and composure. The painting reflects the experience of holding everything just beneath the surface, when feeling gathers behind the eyes but does not spill. It considers the quiet strength required to remain steady while time feels indistinct and accelerated.

The composition moves in softened transitions, where brushstrokes dissolve into one another rather than assert themselves. Colors merge at their edges, creating a sense of visual drift.
